Genes Reunited - An enormous UK site with millions of names. You can search free of charge but an annual membership fee is payable to contact other members

  Maritime Research - An excellent source of information compiled by Len Barnett

Roots Database - A huge US searchable database of research interests

Scottish Research - Contains around 37 million names.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - You can now search their huge database online. Probably the biggest and best genealogy resource on the Internet.

Truly Searchable Genealogy Sites - Lots of databases to search

UK+Ireland Genealogy - A tremendous UK site with masses of information and excellent links.
