Susan (Ellis) Soole & Emma Soole, Cambridgeshire

Susan (Ellis) Soole was born in Ickleton, CAM in about 1814 and married Nicholas Walker Soole, a carpenter, in 1832. Nicholas and Susan moved from Ickleton to Chrishall, ESS in the late 1830s. Susan died in 1897 and is buried with Nicholas in Chrishall churchyard.

Nicholas and Susan’s daughter Emma Soole was born in Chrishall in 1854, the twelfth of their fourteen children. She married widower Benjamin Bullen in 1889. Maureen Wiesner, who has allowed us to reproduce these photos is Benjamin and Emma’s gt grand-daughter.
